Roy and I have lived in this area for 13 years. We have large patches of clover.....I looked and looked for a 4 leaf clover since the day we moved in here!!!!
I have no luck what so ever!!!!
Roy finds them like he's pickin' boogers!
All this last Spring I have looked all over the property for one .....just one! I was brushin' back the leaves and there it was!!!
Woo Hoo!!
I was so excited that Roy walked over to see what I was so excited about.
"Look Honey! I finally found one after all these years!" Holding it up for him to see.
He smiled, reached down and picked out a 5 leaf clover!!!!
UGH!!!!
I kid you not!! He had not stood there more than 3 seconds!!!

I'm always looking for a four leaf clover too! Haven't seen one yet.
I read you comment on my last post and I completely got what you were saying. I changed my blog a bit to more accurately reflect the exact thing that bugs me. ISpecifically, I hated it when women said they flew certain air planes when they did not actually fly them. I mean, there are women pilots and they fight very hard to get repsect and they earn their pilot slots. I think it's disrespectful to say that you fly an air plane if you don't. Call me crazy!
I didn't mean to imply that a couple can't have the same hopes and dreams--hopefully they do. I edited the ole bloggy blog to make that clear though.

A few years ago, the boys were on my last nerve so I sent them outside and told them that the first one to find a 4 leaf clover got $5. Yeah - Middle Child found one in less than 3 minutes and they were back bugging me again.
